Crete this my little pretties is from where we have just returned... sublime we nearly didn't come back a converted fisherman's taverna, the sea views were to die for, really remote, village 5 minutes by car and nearest town over half an hour away up a mountain track [unpaved road] i shall endeavor to put in more pics, once again this took 34 minutes handy it is not it may be easier to find me on flickr... 4kiku hi to all my blog friends

lounge shadows a test of ingenuity this taken spring 2006, repainting my mother's house.  curiously enough there is scaffolding around the house in which i live [in a flat] surrounded and wrapped in fine green mesh to prevent debris falling on the dear littles that occasionely play in the back garden of the Montessori nursery school. the effect is like living in an aquarium. kazimir thinks it will be perfect to race up the ladders like she did years ago when G and i took over three hours to entice her to a point where G could climb up and bring her down so in very hot weather we have had to close the windows to prevent her wanderings and the crap the the bulders have so kindly managed to get in over the top panes. quite apart from security. once bitten twice shy. Many years ago i left my windows open for the painters to move frames up and down whilst i was at work. came home and found white gloss paint on my duvet cover... and carpet!! and at the end of the quarter my telephone bill had an enormous call to Mexico itemised. the equivalent of six months income for me!!!!!
