short version...

Kazimir has a tumour in her small intestine, vet said saturday. we will take her back monday morning if she rallys a little he will put her on a course of nausea alleviating medication.

Kazimir may have at best a few months. worse case scenario it develops into peritonitus, very painful.

if no better he will ease her passing.

so my friends, my dearest companion of over 16 years may not be with us after Monday.

please light candles for her

i am at home 'cos a front tooth broke last night and it isnt even near xmas.."all i want for..."
 we know get the picture (:
so off to dentists to get gob fixed
so elegant when in pain
temporary glued in job with antibiotics
then ten days to see what fresh xray will show
potential for £200 post and crown courtesy of nhs
or and get this???
4 tooth bridge base cost £1200 or £1600 plus additional root canal treatment and two post and crowns to join the bridge together
or dentures
or an implant [private of course!]
would i go any other way starting at £2k..............!
and i thought i had sinus and perhaps a swollen gum as a side effect

duh silly little me

well i spent a long time writing yesterday and added a pic so i thought from my own picture box in my pc and low and behold nuthing nada zilch

but not even the blurb saved so this probably wont either

i am now off to look at friends blogs... cya

well i dont often receive compliments at work not because i am not entitled but brickbats are more commonly given and compliments more charily so.

it is a strange place working in an artist's studio and part of the fashion world, lots of prima donna's and that does not include me..

i am very empassioned but not often about the job. i love painting don't get me wrong but lets face it .. it isn't rocket science or brain surgery.

 there is quite an element of skill not only in the technique used but also colour awareness.

i have recently been finding that tiredness doesnt kill but causes nye on a need for the death wish if you paint when you are tired. ie technique a bit iffy and or and this is very rare one's sense of colour is off!!

so a couple of early nights and some extra vit e and thyme oil capsules seems to sort my eyes out.

my immediate boss J is going on hols for a week and left me in charge of her Trainee... "dont worry about D's technique but do watch her colour. your colour awareness is very good..."

i nearly fell over back wards.. like i said not often does one receive a compliment. if nothing is said you are doing ok. if not watch out.

so i lefet owrk with a smile on my face and not just a tired one at that.

a test of ingenuity

this taken spring 2006, repainting my mother's house. 

curiously enough there is scaffolding around the house in which i live [in a flat]
surrounded and wrapped in fine green mesh to prevent debris falling on the dear littles that occasionely play in the back garden of the Montessori nursery school.

the effect is like living in an aquarium.
kazimir thinks it will be perfect to race up the ladders like she did years ago when G and i took over three hours to entice her to a point where G could climb up and bring her down
so in very hot weather we have had to close the windows to prevent her wanderings and the crap the the bulders have so kindly managed to get in over the top panes.

quite apart from security.
once bitten twice shy. Many years ago i left my windows open for the painters to move frames up and down whilst i was at work. came home and found white gloss paint on my duvet cover... and carpet!!
and at the end of the quarter my telephone bill had an enormous call to Mexico itemised. the equivalent of six months income for me!!!!!

well it appears yet again i cannot 'new entry' into my home category. so goodness knows where i will end up this time.

my reluctance to blog is only explained by i am not familiar with the 'new' software that is offered and the slowness with which i seem to access it.

at 6 am in the morning i like to switch on and rattle away with what ever amusement is left over in my brain from the day before.

as it may... amuse you also?!

now i find the laborious click in , enter name then password and hunt for access to allow my participation.

my friends in bloggerdom seem to have given up on their hunt for me as i am not exactly stimulating nor amusing so why bother

as a consequence the comments trigger for email notification doesnt exactly burn itself into my microsoft outlook file.

so my patient friends [or not] i will endevour once again and there again a little more frequently.

and there is me trying to persuade Dogstar to join the ranks of 20sixdom, he's not too keen having heard the expletives coming from the computer desk!!
